EsnafPOS
A universal cloud POS & inventory management system engineered for small retail businesses and wholesalers.

Project Architecture & Case Study
The Challenge & Scope
Small retail shops often struggle with fragmented tools: pen-and-paper ledgers, detached barcode scanners, and convoluted desktop software that lacks cloud synchronization and multi-register support.
Technical Architecture & Solution
I designed a modular cloud architecture using Next.js 16, React 19, tRPC, Drizzle ORM, and PostgreSQL. Consolidated barcode workflows, inventory movements, daily cash reconciliation, and supplier purchase returns into a single cohesive UI. Backed by Better Auth for role-based security and Turborepo for monorepo efficiency.
Results & Key Deliverables
EsnafPOS unites diverse retail requirements under one unified, type-safe full-stack product. The system provides sub-second scanning response times and clean audit trails across all inventory mutations.
About the Project
Architected as a multi-tenant inventory, sales, and point-of-sale software tailored for small businesses such as convenience stores, pet shops, apparel boutiques, and wholesale distributors. Features barcode scanning, live inventory ledger tracking, cash register reconciliation (Z-report equivalents), and supplier purchasing/return workflows. Currently in active development.
Architected, designed, and engineered entirely by Ahmet Mert Yiğitbaşı.
